Walnut Creek, CA
– Health Medicine Forum (HMF) hosts “Emotional Wellness: Letting
Go”, the 6th event of the Rethinking Wellness Series, at
the Lesher Center for the Arts in Walnut Creek on Tuesday, January
26 th. Presentations begin at 7:15 pm. Opportunity to
network and meet the speakers before and after the presentations.
Our emotions
have the power to create resilience and health, opening us to life's
wonders. Emotions are deeply affected by, and also affect, our
physiological and mental state of being. Awakening the body and mind
to the natural rhythms of life that support, heal and connect us
others, can transform difficult emotions into positive and healing
emotions. Sadness can be transformed into compassion and love, anger
can be transformed into empowerment, and fear can be transformed
into confidence and trust. We will explore ways to experience and
express all of our emotions while remaining in the flow and
connected to a healing and powerful life force.
